MISSION STATEMENT

 

• The Mission of the Shelton Republican Town Committee is to:

• Encourage and elect able Republican citizens of the city of Shelton to public offices and to promote the candidacies of Republicans at the state and national level;

• Organize and conduct local Republican Party conventions, general election campaigns and fundraising events;

• Hold meetings on a regular schedule to conduct Republican Party business according to Connecticut State statutes, Republican State Party rules and Shelton RTC by-laws;

• Study and recommend improvements in the governing of the City of Shelton;

• Study and support or oppose State legislation affecting Shelton and its citizens;

• Be the face of the Republican Party at the local level;

• Sponsor and encourage constructive Republican Party activities;

• Encourage, support and become affiliated with other Republican organizations and groups.
